ABOUT US

All good
in high order

Let this sink in

The world is facing a disposability problem. Shipshape preserves the life and story of materials by seaming old traditions with modern methods.

We get you there
come hell or high water

Every project has challenges. Shipshape provides transparent pricing and flexible timelines so we stay on time, on budget, and in scope.

At the helm.
At the ready.
At your service.

Ehren Stark is a three-time master tradesman, sailor, and owner at Shipshape. He grew up in a 200+ year old farm house that gave him a forensic sensitivity to the stories structures tell through the layering of materials over time. He holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from SUNY Alfred State and is a fourth-generation mason and carpenter.

Ehren does everything he can to preserve original materials

using era-appropriate hand tools and heritage techniques for restoration and preservation projects.

He’s also fast and dangerous with the power tools. Dangerous in a good way. Don’t worry, we’re insured.
